2001, the end of the ancient Egyptian calendar, began the last 11-year solar magnetic activity cycle leading up to the year 2012, the end of the ancient Mayan calendar for this age. Both cultures knew alot about the stars and build sophisticated pyramidal antennae to collect solar magentic energy.

Mayan-Calendar

2500 years ago the Mayans calculated time, calendars and eclipses at least as well as we do today. Their calendar dates back 18,630 years. We are now in the final decade approaching the end of a 26,000 precessional cycle in the motion of the Earth within the Milky Way galaxy.

Long Count: The 5,125-year cycle from 3114 B.C. to 12/21/2012 is 1/5 of the precessional cycle ending when the winter solstice point precesses through resonance with the galactic center (A House of God the Father). The 5,125-year period is subdivided into 260 Katuns. The Long Count is the tzolkin writ large.

We are approaching the end of the final Fifth Age in the last central spiral of the great stone calendar. This age is identified by a turtle glyph "Ollin" meaning "movement or shift". Native Americans like the Hopi call Earth "Turtle Island". The shell of Turtle Island is made of tectonic plates and geometric energy grids like the back of a turtle. The movement or shift of Turtle Island could be physical, mental and/or spiritual. Earthquakes and cleansing are integral to most Native American prophecies. We may be like a turtle on its back, requiring divine intervention to right our planet. Another set of symbols on the Mayan calendar are for the last twenty year Katun of the final Age (1992-2012): the glyphs for "Storm" and for "Sun." We are having record-breaking solar storms.

Katun: A period of 7,200 days or 19.71 years. This is the basic generational cycle of ancient Mesoamerica which is a close approximation of the Jupiter/Saturn (Christ/Satan) cycle of 19.86 years.

In early December 1992 the great catholic mystic Bede Griffiths in his ashram in Shantivanam, South India said to Andrew Harvey, “You know of course, Andrew, that we are in the hour of God.”  Andrew asked him what he meant and he replied, “The whole human race has now come to the moment when everything is at stake, when a vast shift of consciousness will have to take place on a massive scale in all societies and religions for the world to survive.”  I asked him of he believed that the human race could survive.  He replied, “Yes, but it will cost everything.  Just as Jesus had to go through death into the new world of the Resurrection, so millions of us will have to go through a death to the past and to all old ways of being and doing if we are going to be brought by the grace of God into the truth of a real new age.  The next twenty years will unfold a series of terrible disasters, wars and ordeals of every kind that will reveal if the human race is ready to die into new life or not...Either total destruction or total transformation is possible and depends on us, on what we choose and how we act.”
