The Five Phases of Health
Renewal
The Five Phase System is designed
to guide and educate today's increasingly health conscious consumer
in regaining balanced health in the face of the multitude of daily
health threats. Even the longest health journey must begin with a
single step. From the quagmires of chronic fatigue and degenerative
disease all the way up to vibrant health and renewed zeal for life,
the Five Phase System maps out the terrain of life. It serves as a
guide and constant companion through the worthy challenges and valiant
triumphs of self renewal. Let's take a brief look at the terrain,
and see if you can identify which Phase you may be in. . .
Phase 1: Energize
Phase 1 is called Energize. If you are in Phase 1 terrain, you will
need to be energized at a cellular level to extract yourself from
this quagmire of sinking health and degenerative disease. Cellular
energy is so low in Phase 1 that even viruses, which are virtually
inanimate strands of toxic DNA or RNA can penetrate the cells defence
shields.
Initially, cell energy production in the mitochondria may be blocked
by the penetration of a toxin into the cell, often long after initial
exposure. Lack of cellular energy is then directly linked to the buildup
of metabolic sludge in the cells as they fail to burn their fuels
efficiently.
More and more cells in the body begin to cast aside their normal functions
to serve as cellular garbage dumps, moving ever closer to the final
stage of the process called cancer. Fortunately, most people can sustain
relatively normal function for 10 or 20 years in Phase 1 terrain before
they are diagnosed with cancer or some other chronic degenerative
disease. During this time, many actually feel relatively healthy.
This false sense of security is partially due to the inability of
the immune system to respond with its normal gusto. While others in
the same environment get colds and flus periodically, those in Phase
1 seldom even get a slight fever. Don't make the mistake of confusing
this asymptomatic period with having a strong immune system. The sooner
you start to energize your tired cells, the sooner they will start
to burn off the accumulated debris and get about the business of returning
toward health. So, if you have problems with viral infections, low
energy or even chronic health problems, you may be in Phase 1 terrain.
Phase 2: Rejuvenate
When your cells are re-energized, just like putting new spark plugs
in your cars engine, you have the energy to get some work done. In
Phase 2, also called Rejuvenate, you are trying to do that work, which
in the life of the cell is done by enzymes. So, if you have the energy,
but can't produce the enzymes to get the job done, you have frustrated
cells. This leads to rapid deterioration and aging. It also sets up
the conditions for unfriendly bacteria to take over the job for the
cells, resulting in bacterial infections. Fortunately, rejuvenation
is typically a rapid process, often taking place within one month.
So, if you are having difficulty with bacterial infections, rapid
aging, or just difficulty digesting your food, you may be in Phase
2 terrain.
Phase 3: Regenerate
Once the cell is properly supported to rejuvenate its enzyme systems,
it is functioning normally. Neighboring cells, though, are continuously
getting old and worn out or over-stressed, perhaps from chemicals
or computer radiation exposure. In many tissues, the rejuvenated cell
can then Regenerate (Phase 3) to fill in the gaps. If you find yourself
stuck in Phase 3, unable to effectively replace damaged cells, dead
and decaying cellular debris can collect, providing a perfect growth
medium for fungi, such as Candida albicans. Depending upon how much
damage has accumulated, repairs and regeneration can take quite a
few months once proper support is in place. If you have had problems
with Candida or other fungi, or notice a slow metabolism with difficulty
taking off weight, you could be stuck in Phase 3 terrain.
Phase 4: Cleanse
In Phase 4, called Cleanse, you have normal cells, but the tissues
are overloaded with the effects of stress. This triggers the response
of the immune system. Allergic responses and other attempts at cleansing
the tissues on site often points to the blood and lymph being overwhelmed
with the cleansing process and not able to clear completely of the
toxins. So, if you experience allergy or sensitivity responses, you
may be in Phase 4 terrain.
Phase 5: Balance
When the elimination systems are working right and you are avoiding
major sources of environmental and other stresses, you get to experience
Balance, Phase 5. This is rare today, but the beauty of Phase 5 is
that whatever helps you maintain balance can also help you achieve
balance, no matter how far you are out of balance to start with. So,
whether you still have the vitality you did on the best day of your
life, or whether you look forward to the day when you can surpass
that achievement, Phase 5 is for you. Even if you are an athlete in
super-health, you may well already be in Phase 5 terrain. You will
have some new ways to sustain that experience, and even take it to
new heights of performance.
