:Cobalt:

Function: Cobalt is 4% of the essential Vitamin B12 (Cobalamin). Deficiency: pernicious anaemia.

Uses:

  • Arteritis
  • Arterial hypertension
  • Cramps of circulatory origin
  • Diabetes: as Oligo element with Ni and Zn
  • Digestive spasm or gastric pain: as Oligo element with Mn
  • Pancreatic hypofunction
  • Peripheral vasoconstriction
  • Sympathetic nervous system

Sources: Calf's liver, lamb, beef, tuna, egg, milk, cheese, chicken, lentils, mushrooms

Dosage: Daily requirement is about 0.005 mg. A carnivorous diet ensures an average of 0.5 to 0.18 mg of cobalt each day. Vegetarianism justifies cobalt supplementation.
