As seen on TV immediately after the collapse,
but never repeated, a reporter interviewed someone who had just
escaped the falling building and had been INSIDE.The man stated
quite plainly:
"There was a series of explosions... at least about five of
them... like BOOM - BOOM - BOOM - BOOM - BOOM just before the whole
building started coming down."
At least one retired military officer was
called by the FBI just prior to the events of 9/11 and told that
his flights would be rerouted to avoid the Boston airport. Were
military personnel kept away from the staging area to avoid any
unplanned interference? Apparently several other targets were targetted
on 9/11 by other flights out of Boston.
Archtitects who designed the building to
withstand just such an assault were shocked:
IT WAS DESIGNED FOR A PLANE IMPACT", Aaron
Swirski, one of the architects of the World Trade Center, talks
exclusively to Jerusalem Post Radio on the World Trade Center collapse.
He says they designed the towers to withstand something like a plane
flying into the side.
Lee Robinson, the WTC's project structural
engineer, "I designed it for a 707 Hit"
