:iam33: Capital
As Christ serves his Apostles
by the washing of their feet, the plan for our capital city is a floating
nation for the visitation, linking and service for our communities.
"Everything which seems at
rest depends upon motion to make believe it is at rest. So, this seeming
stillness that surrounds us is a seething sea of motion. By unbalancing
this rest and balance, we have endless power at our fingertips."
-Walter Russell
:Birth of a Dream as
a Reality!
Her mission will be to cruise
the world, dispersing the message of peace, love, hope, healing and
higher consciousness.
The Rainbow Mothership will be an example of alternative energy and
sustainability on the ocean. She will travel the seven seas as a symbol
for world peace, spreading health and harmony wherever she goes.
She will operate primarily on vegetable bio-diesel and have an experimental
alternative over-unity energy generator as well using a workable new
energy technology.
The cuisine aboard the ship will consist of fresh, dried, and frozen
organic food. There will also be a mini-greenhouse to provide fresh
sprouts and herbs for crew and guests. Aboarde, there will be an emphasis
on a raw living foods vegan lifestyle , but with a tolerance for the
needs of others.
One of the staterooms will be converted to a healing center, utilizing
various alternative medicines and therapies for healing and rejuvenation.
Upon stopping at various ports of call for days to weeks at a time,
clients will have a chance to come aboard for healing and education.
The Rainbow Mothership will also serve for a number of weeks out of
the year as an Ibogaine treatment clinic with qualified personnel
in international waters for people who want to become free of addiction.
Ibogaine is
an entheogen that can cure heroin withdrawal in twenty-four hours
without normal long-term painful withdrawal symptoms, currently illegal
in the U.S., but a successful alternative
to methadone clinics in other countries.
Another stateroom will be converted
into a yoga/exercise/meditation room, with an experimental 'gyro'
floor, which will always stay level, even in heavy seas. In addition,
there will be an infrared sauna, and a hot tub.
Yet another stateroom will be converted into a recording/ video-editing
studio. This will be rented out to musicians who want to have the
experience of recording offshore. In addition, there will be an underwater
microphone to record whale songs, so that more of their communications
may be cataloged and offered to the public.
Other rooms will include a laboratory, machine shop, and facilities
for art, massage, etc. In addition, there will be a small boat, jet-ski
,dive gear including underwater cameras, motorcycles, kite surfers,
and other equipment.
Vitya, the person who has brought this vision forward will live aboard
and oversee all the operations of the ship. In addition, he will hire
a captain, an engineer, and have a revolving crew of 8-10 people.
As a way of sustaining itself, The Rainbow Mothership will hold healing
ocean retreats for groups of up to 24 at a time. In addition, the
ship will be available for dive charters and custom tailored expeditions,
with an emphasis on healing eco-journeys to power spots and sacred
places.
An important and as far as I am aware a yet unaccomplished research
expedition is envisioned between 2008-9 and. It will be a special
one year mission to track the ecliptic of the sun. In other words,
the ship will travel with the seasonal path of the sun, and every
day for one year will attempt to maintain a position where the sun
is always at zenith at midday. This feat can be accomplished in the
Pacific waters of Polynesia.
An off-site publicity firm will be hired to bring awareness of The
Rainbow Mothership to the world and to raise funds for its adventures.
Also, music, and video recorded and mastered on the ship will be sold
through a web-site and other outlets.
Currently the cost of the ship is $350,000. In addition, another $250,000
will be needed to initially outfit and operate the ship. The Rainbow
Mothership will become sustainable after one year based on charters,
endowments, research project grants, donations, sponsors and web-site
sales. This ship currently operates in the Maldives as a charter dive
boat. For its' current operational budget and profit click here.
For a tax-deductible contribution of $600,000 US$, you can make this
vision a reality. The ship's title will stay vested in your name,
if you so wish, and any moneys used for upgrades, improvements, and
operational costs can be treated as a tax write off. I ask for an
open ended lease to The Rainbow Mothership Project along with a an
option to purchase. Your philanthropic grace can be treated anonymously
or promoted as a sponsor.
By 2004, we can be cruising the world, positively touching the lives
of all who come aboard The Rainbow Mothership. I will pick up where
Jacques Cousteau left off as an advocate for marine life, ocean sustainability,
ecological awareness and global environmental education. The Rainbow
Mothership will visit the world's ports of call with a positive message,
impacting the visionaries of tomorrow with hope that the impossible
dreams can be accomplished as long as there is love and faith.
Like Greenpeace, The Rainbow Mothership will be a global icon for
world peace and an education center for a new generation of voyagers
who want to make a benevolent impact upon the world.
