2. Ah! The mind of God!
In providing my soul with existence, my whole life He can see!
...That He would mould such a universe to bear his Son for me!
Freedom! The freedom to have this soul and to be... Freedom!
Yes, Father, freedom, for me to know Thee!

3. Ah! The voice of God!
In this wilderness he brings me his word!
Thou art the Truth of Perfection, my forgiving Lord!
Freedom! To share every pain and desire on my part...
Freedom! Yes, Father, freedom, to speak straight from my heart!

4. Ah! The heart of God!
Out of love, he gave all to me.
Yes! He who died on the cross, would have done it just for me.
Freedom! To give back faith, hope and charity...
Freedom! Yes, Father, freedom, for me to love Thee!

5. Ah! The virtue of God!
He loves me who died for my sin...
Yes! He does love His creation though it killed His only Son.
Freedom! To carry my cross and to suffer with Thee!
Freedom! Yes, Father, freedom, to be more like Thee!

6. Ah! The spirit of God! That He can not cease to be.
Yet coming to us in flesh and blood, he came in humility.
Freedom! Lord help me reflect Thy image to Thee...
Freedom! Yes, Father, freedom, to rely all on Thee!

7. Ah! The love of God!
With Blessed Mary and Virtuous Joseph, the holy family.
...Into which he has invited me!
Freedom! The freedom to join in community...
Freedom! Yes, Father, freedom, in union with Thee!

8. Ah! The promise of God!
Seek and we shall find Thee.
Yes! Where two or more of us gather, then there are always three!
Freedom! Thou wilt stay with us for all eternity...
Freedom! Yes, Father, freedom, to place our trust in Thee!

9. Ah! The rule of God!
Justice tempered in infinite love!
Source of limitless mercy that reigns us from above!
Freedom! The freedom to do right for love of Thee...
Freedom! Yes, Father, freedom, to serve only Thee!

10. Ah! The life of God!
That Thou wouldst die to live with me!
Thou wouldst be scourged and pierced to set me free!
Freedom! Hear my sins now, Father, and forgive me...
Freedom! Yes, Father, freedom, in eternity!

11. Ah! The grace of God!
Producing good from all things!
Out of our sins and His death, salvation and life He brings!
Freedom! Sufficient for me are the trials of each day...
Freedom! Yes, Father, freedom... How you light up my way!

12. Ah! The path of God!
Only two persons wide!
Lord, when 'ere I trip or lose my way...You bring me back by your side!
Freedom! To discern straight & narrow from the wide...

Not one person but three!
Lord let me rest in the bosom of your holy trinity!
