Petition:The 9/12/01 message below is from Jean Reddeman. Jean is of the
Stockbridge Munsee Bank of the Mohican Nation. Her Indian name is
Wasaki Emani Wi, which means Strong Walking Woman. She is known
by her people as a Seer. Our elders had predicted that Great Good will come after this tragedy, especially if people recognized the teachings of the event and if they honored those that sacrificed their lives. We have to thank and elevate these souls that died during the tragedy. They will still be around us for 9 days. We need to honor them and recognize their love for all of us. We have to listen to their teachings as they are very evolved souls that will be helping the major shift that the world so sorely needs. We are to honor them and ask them what we must do to change our world. They came into this lifetime to give us this gift, the gift of their lives and of their love, so that the world changes to a better place. We must honor them, we must go forward. We must listen to their messages from the Heavens. There is much work to be done, particularly for women. Why women? It comes from an old Indian Proverb: "A nation is not lost as long as the women's hearts are still high. Only when the women's hearts are on the ground " then all is finished, and the nation dies. The women are the life carriers." Women need to reach inside and tap into their own female powerful energy. The world needs much nurturing right now, more than ever. >From this female energy, men will gain their original strength. Not the strength that economic, political and military power gives, but true spiritual strength from where all lives truly flourish. We need to cultivate the receptive, docile and nurturing energy. We cannot go on with wars, we will all die, if we do. We have to see in the middle of the pain and chaos the greater lessons. But, most of all, let us not miss the precious moment that we have in the next 9 days to talk to these souls that have left their bodies for our sake, for our salvation and true freedom. We must thank them from the bottom of our hearts, with incredible love, for they are great people. We have to share this moment so that together we can go to this new consciousness, the female energy that is so much needed at this time. We have felt the pain of the loss of life deep in our hearts this week. We have felt anger and rage and asked ourselves why this has happened. We have looked into our hearts seeking a way to respond to the violence and we have seen that more violence will only cause more death, and we have seen enough death. We, the undersigned, firmly believe that going to war against terrorism will only cause more pain, anger, and despair as the toll of death and destruction rises, for Americans and people around the world. We firmly object to this response to the attack waged on the World Trade Towers and the American Pentagon on September 11, 2001. We urge our political and military leaders to bring the perpretrators of Tuesdays violence to justice according to the rule of law, supporting all international diplomatic efforts to bring the suspects forward for adjudication without visiting death and destruction on multitudes of innocent bystanders. We believe that striking countries harboring terrorists around the world will in fact decrease our personal safety here at home, perhaps inciting further terrorist attacks. Therefore, we believe that the result of such a war will be increased fear, a fear that could all too easily cause the erosion and eventual loss of our civil liberties in the guise of security measures. We are unwilling to submit to security measures which will eliminate our privacy and our freedom to be in the world without being watched or continuously judged and made suspect. Finally, we believe that waging a protracted military war against an enemy that is both numerous and unknown leaves our society vulnerable to sustained fear and unrest, unable to finally enjoy a true and lasting freedom from terrorism. For these reasons and more, we the undersigned are willing to make several changes which will gradually change the direction of American foreign policy and eventually answer terrorism with peace, a peace we must wage now. If we continue the violence and the killing by going to war against terrorism with military arms, we will surely continue the death of Americans and others all over the world, and in so doing continue to support the terrorists objective We agree that we are willing to: Reevaluate our military presence and policies in the Middle East, determining the quantity and quality of aid to individual nations based upon a mutual assessment of what is best for the region and the world, rather than the simple rubric of oil at all costs for American consumption; Redirect a large proportion of the American defense budget toward the research and development of renewable energy resources and alternatives to gasoline driven automobiles; Gradually cut back and eventually disengage our economic reliance on the production and sale of weapons, aircraft and war materiel; Support a society wide retooling as we change the way we share and distribute the resources of the Earth; Conserve energy and resources at home and abroad; Stop the economic sanctions against the Iraqi people who are starving and dying for lack of food and medicine; Issue a formal apology and reparations to the people of Sudan who were killed in the unprovoked United States bombing of the pharmaceutical company in Khartoum; Urge the United Nations to invest in independent councils for peace negotiations in Israel, Sudan, Ireland, the former Yugoslavia, and all other similarly distressed countries; Organize opportunities for interfaith/intercultural education and understanding; Support a world summit on aid and education to foreign countries which supports their independent growth and economic viability on the world stage rather than keeping them in debt and dependency. We agree that we are willing to wage peace in all these ways and more, building a world where we are all safe to create with the vision of our hearts, sharing and celebrating our humanity together, so help us God. I believe that the great loss of life is yet to come. In the end, we will be ecstatic to meet another human survivor, and all will be of one family, one tribe, one nation in the superabundant life, love and light of God's great grace. This was only the beginning of the final 11 year solar activity cycle of our times. The ancient clock at the pyramids in Giza ended. Eleven years hence, the Mayan calendar ends. Neither is wrong. There is an 11 year transition, which the losing side calls 'War' on our Freedom. Our interior freedom expands infinitely as we pledge our will to the service of the divine will. When Christ came, the Jewish world ended. As he predicted, within the life of those who heard, not one stone stood upon another in the great temple of Jerusalem (which means 'new peace'). Since that time, the ancient Jewish ritual animal sacrifices have not been practiced once. The sacrifice since then has been the unbloody sacrifice of the mass, where Christ offers himself as the bread of heaven, food of the angels, to nourish our interior spiritual life in the divine. The exterior world changed little with Christ's coming. There was an earthquake and 3 hours of darkness at his passing into the underworld, but the appearance of the exterior life remained the same. What changed was the presence of a new grace in the world, allowing us to become saints. Before Christ openned the gates of Heaven, all just men and women had to wait in the bosom of Abraham, a place of consolation akin to the limbo of the just, where aborted souls are comforted by God's loving presence for all eternity according to the capacity they have developed to experience God. Only by developing our ability to see with spiritual sight the realities which are usually hidden to our physical eyes do we prepare ourselves for the beatific vision we will see in heaven for all eternity. __________________________ |
