Infant-Glaucoma: Question: Our daughter is 1 year old and we have been dealing with glaucoma. The pressure in one eye has been stable since Feb., but the pressure in the other eye is still high. Also we are hoping and waiting for one of her corneas to clear more (there is some scarring), but the good news is that the cornea has gradually become clearer over the past few months. We have been following your advice re: Forskohli (1 capsule daily mixed in with her milk) MSM (1/8-1/4 tsp. daily), Liquid Vit. C. drops (1 tsp/day) and liquid multi-vitamin/min. drops (1 tsp/day). I am wanting to know if you would suggest increasing her dosage now that she weighs 21 pounds? Any other advice for helping clear the eye of scar tissue? Answer: Yes. You can increase doses according to body weight. Also Unique E would be helpful for clearing the cornea. You can pierce a gel-cap with a pin, or snip it with a scissors and mix most of the Vitamin E with her food (on capsule daily), then rub the remaining oil residue around the eye lid area outside the eyes. This is the only undiluted, unfractionated, unprocessed vitamin E on the market, and has wonderful healing properties not achieved as well with other vitamin E's.
