The Crown of Wuttemburg, made for King William I of Wurtemburg (1816-!864) in 1822. Now in the Wurtemberg Museum in Stuttgart.
The Bavarian Queen's Crown was made in Paris by Biennais in 1806 and altered in 1867 by G. Merck, at the order of King Ludwig II. The crown was intended for his fiancee Dutchess Sophia, however, the engagement was cancelled and the wedding never took place.
The Bavarian King's Crown was made in Paris by Martin Guillaume Bienais for King Max I Joseph in 1806. It contains rubies, emeralds, sapphires, pearls, and brilliants. |
