:Slavery:

:Slaves do the work needed for their own survival plus additional work for their masters. The ratio of sustenance versus slave labor is about 50-50 for Roman slaves, Medieval Serfs and American slaves of the past. When you add up all overt taxes, covert fees, tariffs, excises, plus the increased price you pay for products to pay the taxes of the companies that make those products, you will find that Americans are at that same "half-for-self" versus "half-for-rulers" ratio.

Free people are poor in the eyes of the world, but rich in spirit. The average aboriginal person spends 8 hours a week on subsistence and the rest on family and culture. Slavery, as with all truth about the world, is accepted by the Church as a reality, but the Church has also led the way to our freedom. Christ came to redeem us from the slavery to sin that caused our fall from grace. Sin is losing control and missing the mark of virtue. In slavery we lose control of our lives and miss the mark of living in heaven on earth. Slavery is a result of sin. Today, the sin of usury is a dominant bond that enslaves God's people to their Master cards.

Jesus said "Give unto Caesar what belongs to Caesar." Why did he not say "Do as Caesar tells you" or "Pay your taxes to Caesar" or even "Give your Roman coins to Caesar"? Instead, he leaves us with an embedded question: "What belongs to Caesar." We might presume that the metal in the coin belongs to Caesar, but we would be wrong, as all that is created in the Truth belongs to the Creator. "The Gold is mine and the Silver is mine, sayeth the Lord of hosts."

The Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew:

Matthew: Chapter Verse Latin-Vulgate: Douay-Rheims:
~22 ~15 tunc abeuntes Pharisaei consilium inierunt ut caperent eum in sermone Then the Pharisees going, consulted among themselves how to insnare him in his speech.
~22 ~16 et mittunt ei discipulos suos cum Herodianis dicentes magister scimus quia verax es et viam Dei in veritate doces et non est tibi cura de aliquo non enim respicis personam hominum And they sent to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying: Master, we know that thou art a true speaker and teachest the way of God in truth. Neither carest thou for any man: for thou dost not regard the person of men.
~22 ~17 dic ergo nobis quid tibi videatur licet censum dare Caesari an non Tell us therefore what dost thou think? Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
~22 ~18 cognita autem Iesus nequitia eorum ait quid me temptatis hypocritae But Jesus knowing their wickedness, said: Why do you tempt me, ye hypocrites?
~22 ~19 ostendite mihi nomisma census at illi obtulerunt ei denarium Shew me the coin of the tribute. And they offered him a penny.
~22 ~20 et ait illis Iesus cuius est imago haec et suprascriptio And Jesus saith to them: Whose image and inscription is this?
~22 ~21 dicunt ei Caesaris tunc ait illis reddite ergo quae sunt Caesaris Caesari et quae sunt Dei Deo They say to him: Caesar's. Then he saith to them: Render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar's; and to God, the things that are God's.
~22 ~22 et audientes mirati sunt et relicto eo abierunt And hearing this, they wondered and, leaving him, went their ways.

For the Worship of one God is with the Lack of the Love and Service of any Graven-Things (e.g. Money):

Exodus: Chapter Verse Latin-Vulgate: Douay-Rheims:
~20 ~4 non facies tibi sculptile neque omnem similitudinem quae est in caelo desuper et quae in terra deorsum nec eorum quae sunt in aquis sub terra Thou shalt not make to thyself a graven thing, nor the likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or in the earth beneath, nor of those things that are in the waters under the earth.
~20 ~5 non adorabis ea neque coles ego sum Dominus Deus tuus fortis zelotes visitans iniquitatem patrum in filiis in tertiam et quartam generationem eorum qui oderunt me Thou shalt not adore them, nor serve them: I am the Lord thy God, mighty, jealous, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me:
~20 ~6 et faciens misericordiam in milia his qui diligunt me et custodiunt praecepta mea And shewing mercy unto thousands to them that love me, and keep my commandments.

Note for Exodus 20:4 (1899)

All such images, or likenesses, are forbidden by this commandment, as are made to be adored and served; according to that which immediately follows, thou shalt not adore them, nor serve them. That is, all such as are designed for idols or image-gods, or are worshipped with divine honour. But otherwise images, pictures, or representations, even in the house of God, and in the very sanctuary so far from being forbidden, are expressly authorized by the word of God. See Ex. 25:15 [18?]; chap 38:7; Num. 21:8,9; 1 Chron. or Paralip 28:18,19; 2 Chron. or Paralip. 3:10.

For the Prophecy of the Aggeus: Chapter~2

Aggeus: Chapter Verse Latin-Vulgate: Douay-Rheims:
~2 8 et movebo omnes gentes et veniet desideratus cunctis gentibus et implebo domum istam gloria dicit Dominus exercituum And I will move all nations: and the desired of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory: saith the Lord of hosts.
~2 9 meum est argentum et meum est aurum dicit Dominus exercituum The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the Lord of hosts.
~2 10 magna erit gloria domus istius novissimae plus quam primae dicit Dominus exercituum et in loco isto dabo pacem dicit Dominus exercituum Great shall be the glory of this last house more than of the first, saith the Lord of hosts: and in this place I will give peace, saith the Lord of hosts.
